Birthday Parties
The Silliman Activity and Family Aquatic Center
is the PERFECT Place to Host Your Birthday Party or Special Event!
General Information:
- Parties must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
- 10% Discount on all parties held Monday-Friday.
- $100 Refundable damage deposit and Base Booking Fee due at booking.
- Room time starts at designated party time and ends at designated time. See Reservation Form for specific times. Package Time includes time for set-up & clean-up. No early entry. Additional fees will be charged for room use after designated time.
- ALL Persons (adults & children, swimming or not) in attendance will be included in the final count of your party package.
- Only food that is non-competing with our Otter Alley Café is allowed into the facility. No outside beverages allowed into the facility. Food packages are available. Click here for FOOD PACKAGE ORDER FORM. All Café orders must be prepaid and placed one week prior to your party/event.
- Add PARTY EXTRAS to your special party or event: Goody Bags, Goggles, Invitations, Cake, Ice-Cream, Cups/Napkins/Plates/Forks, Additional Room Time (if available), or Gym Time (if available)

Splash-tastic!
* 2 hours 15 minutes of Aquatic Event Room rental (see reservation form below for available times)
* Aquatic Event Room has direct access to the pool deck.
* Swimming for you & your guests
* 2 adult chaperones enter for free!
* Base Booking Fee: $135 R/$165 NR for up to 15 people
* Additional people charged $9R/$11NR per person up to 40 guests
Play & Splash!
* 2 hours 15 minutes of Premium Event Room rental (see reservation form below for available times)
* Premium Event Room does not have direct access to pool deck; therefore, swimming is scheduled before or after your event room time.
* Swimming for you & your guests
* 2 adult chaperones enter for free!
* Base Booking Fee: $150 R/$180 NR for up to 15 people
* Additional people charged $10R/$12NR/per person up to 40 guests
Totally Teen!
* 2 hours 15 minutes of Teen Area rental (see reservation form below for available times)
* Teen Area does not have direct access to pool deck, therefore, swimming is scheduled before or after your Teen Area time.
* Swimming for you & your guests
* 2 adult chaperones enter for free!
* All guests must be 10 years of age or older.
* Base Booking Fee: $165 R/$195 NR for up to 15 people
* Additional people charged $11R/$13NR/per person up to 40 guests

* Submit completed reservation form with $100 deposit and Base Booking Fee to Aquatic Front Desk in person, by fax to 510-578-4622, or email to recreation@newark.org. NO BOOKINGS will be reserved without completed paperwork and payment.

New!! Rent a Cabana during your next visit to the pool and enjoy a private reserved area on our pool deck. Each Cabana has a table, 10 chairs, and snacks. Rental fees are $40 R/$50 NR for the day. Reservations may be made in advance or the day of based on availability. To reserve your Cabana, conplete the Cabana Application and return with your rental fees.
