Senior Advisory Committee
The Senior Citizen Standing Advisory Committee researches senior issues within the City of Newark and identifies those needs which require assistance. The Committee makes recommendations to the City Council and provides information which they feel is pertinent to the well being of Newark’s senior citizens. The Committee meets at 8:45 a.m. on the Last Wednesday of most months at the Newark Senior Services located at 6800 Mowry Ave. in Newark. For agendas and minutes please click here. Committee members are appointed by the Mayor, with the approval of the City Council for a two year term.
